Left se lekar right ka spectrum dekhna zaruri nahi hai. People try to check boxes but the only thing that matters is how much info is based on facts. 

This guy presents facts and then adds his theories based on what he thinks is right. He also gives justification from experts on his final take. Dhruv does the same thing but in a direct and an unapologetic manner. And this applies to Soch and to an extent Nitish Rajput as well. 

As for the RW, other than Nitish leaning right and his videos making sense, there is WION that does the same. But then the RW ecosystem is based on lies and sensationalism. Tough to find even one sane channel right now and yet people are unabashedly talking about how they cover the spectrum?

The far right deals in theories and propaganda, not history, and not facts. The same goes to far left. The extreme pole opposites use agendas for their own interests. 

Bias is inherent in humans - stick to facts and more often than not, your opinion will be sane. One could have both left and right takes on different issues. Mahatma Gandhi was a conservative but ultimately liberal in his outlook in most political matters. Nowadays it is fashionable to put people into buckets. It is much more complex than that.

Listen we do need to be at a level as 4th largest economy that we don’t fish for external support.

My biggest criticism of Modi - I published an article in 2016, was not abrogating the IWT, which he has done. Apart from that:

1. We went further than Uri and Balakot. (though the real pain Pak will feel is IWT), by attacking multiple sites, incl in the Punjab heartland and in public view. Pak planning would have expected that attack and defended the ara heavily, but we hit all 9 sites without losing anyone, which is probably unprecedented in air warfare against a peer opponent. 

2. We controlled the escalation ladder. We hit Pak harder when they retaliated. We have not knocked out their air bases, but the ability to send missiles for precision hits, when  none of theirs hit, would have spooked them.

3. Except for the usual suspects, no one objected to what was actually an attack on Pak territory. In fact, we were tacitly told to go after terrorists. We did not spend years doing dossier-bazzi. When we said Pak did it we were believed.   

4. We politely said Trump was talking rubbish and he backed down from his statement.

True. But warmongers and de-escalation gangs (who do anything to oppose Modi) will not understand. With this small skirmish, India has sent many messages.

1. We will not tolerate terrorism on our land. And now by not differentiating between terrorists and state-sponsored terrorism, India has basically proclaimed that any further terroristic activities will have bearing and a cost on Pakistani state, not just terror outfits.

2. We have sent a message to other rogue neighbors, like Bangladesh. India will use her hard-power for her interests if push comes to shove. 

3. We crippled Pakistani defences and offences in a matter of 1 day. It will be a note to other strong powers like China as well. Messing with us is not in favor of anybody. Diplomatic solutions to bilateral problems is the only way forward.

4. By accepting a ceasefire (which Pakistan pleaded for), we basically showed the world that we aren't the aggressors. We aren't interested in Pakistan and anything that it has to offer. As Shashi Tharoor says, it has solidified our Status-quo approach in Geopolitics, we want to be left alone. Our fight is against terrorism and terrorism alone. 

5. Our weapons got battle tested  which is a huge advertisement of Indian defence equipment. Anyone can say anything about the equipment on paper, but the real benefits are only displayed on the battlefield. Expect more orders from interested countries and a push to our defence exports.

6. The truth of Pakistani losses will come out in due course. The phase of "fog of war" which Pakistan used adeptly to conduct psy ops and claims egregiously without proofs has now dissipated. I hope their public (who have some sanity left) understand that the root of their problems is the Pakistani army. Giving up terrorism and weeding out terrorists, having a democratically elected civilian govt having control of the military, plus having a good relationship with India will go a long way for both countries.

Retaliation part very good . Military proved its supremacy superb. But internationally we are loosing face not because we attacked Pakistan but because those 4 terrorist are still missing which is giving time to Pakistan to spread its false narrative. 

Second we are not doing great on diplomatic front. Trump is giving these stupid statements like " We told them that there would be no trade if both of you don't stop" . What a ridiculous statement we attacked because we had enough of this terrorism but Trump is claiming that we stopped because of a trade threat , it presents us in a bad light. Why our external affair minister is not refuting this statement. It is demeaning our stand .

Third I don't know what Trump have smoked but now he asked Apple co founder to not set up factory in India. Then Trump is providing Arms and Ammunition to Turkey. Now tell me where is external affair ministry. He is legit mocking us but we are not even refute a single thing said by him 

Third people who are dreaming to become self reliant for that you need to fix the red Tapeism and corruption. Good luck with that

Just reverse the situation and think what would Pakistan do if they were in India's situation? Would they not press hard at that point and go for decisive humiliating defeat for India? If yes, we fucked up. 

Sometimes lifetime of events happen in moments and it was that moment. It's incumbent upon Modi to finish the job he started to not get relegated with Nehru as far as Pakistan is concerned. It was strategic mistake and it will haunt us. 

You see 3 days 3 incidents. Drones, Terrorist encounters. Pakistan is poking and exposing us. Luckily he has kept option open and I so wish come winter when Himalya is closed for Chinese we will go for it.

Yes he did, for the people who wanted an investigation done on Pahalgam, you need to understand one thing that no investigation done on our side would be 100% unless Pak co-operates with us on that. We tried to have them in the loop during pathankot airbase terror attack, even a team from Pak came here surveyed all the areas, looked at all the evidence went home and concluded that we ourselves attacked our own airbases. That's the level at which these shameless fellows operate. We were extremely lucky that we caught Kasab alive during 26/11 or else these buggers would have tried to paint that as an inside job too. 

Now as far as global narrative is concerned it's always been pro Pak but during last 2-3 days it has shifted towards india because for the first time india is trying to put it's people in the media. Indian consulate in US and UK is giving interviews to news agencies and putting their side of the story. 

So all in all it was a success but we can definitely do a lot more in information and narrative war front.

They need to catch the terrorists. Provide proof of terror relations to the FATF and get Pak greylisted again.  

If we don't find the terrorists and their links and make it public, Pak has the option of playsible deniability.

Alright, let's be real for a second about Operation Sindoor. The whole idea that we told Pakistan beforehand about hitting those supposed terror bases and expected them to just...roll over and play nice? That feels a bit out of touch with reality, doesn't it? I mean, which country, especially one we've got a history with, would ever go for that?

And with the Pahalgam thing still hanging in the air, the fact that we went ahead with the operation before even catching the guys responsible feels... premature, to say the least. It makes you wonder about the bigger picture here.

Then there's the whole Doval quote about Balochistan. If you take that at face value, it strongly suggests we're actively involved with groups like the BLA over there. Now, regardless of your stance on Pakistan, you can see how the rest of the world might look at that and see a bit of a 'rules for thee but not for me' situation. It's a tricky position to be in.

Looking at what actually happened on the ground, the reports are messy. We're hearing about our jets being taken down – and some pretty credible sources are backing that up, even mentioning specific aircraft like the Rafale. On the other side, there are reports of civilian deaths in Pakistan, alongside their military losses, and let's not forget our own casualties, both civilian and military. Was the outcome really worth the cost?

The chatter about the Rafale's reputation taking a hit and other countries potentially getting intel on our tech is also something we can't just ignore. So, instead of jumping to conclusions about who 'won' or 'lost,' maybe it's time we had a more honest conversation about the strategy, the execution, and what the long-term fallout of Operation Sindoor might actually be.

What concerns me is Indias continued and perceived lack of structured defense modernization. 2019 was a warning that India needed to be cutting edge and far ahead of Pak in every manner. While India recovered on day 2 and beyond, day 1 of the conflict was bringing back memories of the post Balakot engagement. Why is India not more efficient and focused on defense? Even the IAF chief has been complaining constantly about HAL and lack of modern fleet. It has been 10 years of the current government plus they had a warning in 2019 from Pak so they don't have the usual excuses.

I think Modi did as well as he could. His speeches were good and messaging was on point. 

But, If I'm being honest - India lost the narrative. And this new diplomatic dream team that's being created with shashi tharoor as the face is too reactive. The emotional attention of the world will be focused on Ukraine and Palestine in the near future. 

We can, and should have done better on messaging. India made too many errors in communication - basic mistakes in presentation and allowing Pakistan to win the narrative on and before May 7 were glaring errors. 

Further, not enough emphasis was given Operation Keller. Getting the terrorists should have been a much bigger story.  Telling Pakistan that we were going to attack terrorist camps only puts IAF at a severe disadvantage. 

The Biggest failure however lies with the information funnel to the Press. I don't know who was responsible for this, but I hope someone gets fired. Our media was a joke. Now, many can and will argue that it's been this way for a long time, but I'm yet to find a single national channel that provided decent coverage of the events. 

Also, our social media strategy was laughable.

I believe he had no significant role in Operation Sindoor beyond submitting to Trump’s pressure for a ceasefire. He spent vast amounts of taxpayer money traveling to numerous countries, yet none offered real support against Pakistan when we needed it. Pakistan received direct backing from Turkey, Azerbaijan, and China, plus a $1 billion loan from the U.S., while we faced increased tariffs from Trump. Our army’s sacrifices made Operation Sindoor a success, but our diplomatic failures undermined their efforts.

Not really tbh. He handles the surgical strike like a boss, balakot strike was decent enough, but he failed here. The world now thinks that India targeted civilians, no one outside of India believes in what we say. Not a single country openly supported India, except Israel, which itself doesn't have a very good global reputation. Let alone the morality front, neutral foreigners like to believe that Pakistan defeated India due to those 5 jets including 3 rafales news and not a lot of people know about Poonch.

I might sound harsh but this operation was maybe a success, but everything that followed was most likely a  failure.

I disagree. Pakistan will do another attack once they need to rally their people behind themselves after rebuilding all infrastructure..

We also have to consider the fact that China stands to gain from these conflicts as it's weapons now comes labelled as battle-tested. The fact that Pakistan was so focused on downing a Rafale tells that they wanted a trophy, fulfill their objectives of getting the Chinese weapons battle-tested and to rally their public behind the army so that they can increase their military budget without much opposition.

Operation Sindoor was a massive political failure. It's unfortunate the people in India don't realise it, due to the government propaganda and news media.

1. The operation reduced the terrorist incident where India was a victim, to another Indo-Pak conflict, where both sides are equal.
2. India lost global support it had earned after Pahalgam attack.
3. The conflict gave a massive boost to Pakistan Army and its government, which was facing domestic criticism after the imprisonment of opposition leaders.
4. The operation resulted in absolutely no impact on terrorism.
5. The conflict exposed the limit of military action, not to mention a loss of air-crafts.

Instead of answering these questions in Parliament, the Indian government is doing propaganda to show that the operation was a huge success.
